Test B: Abs Indicator Inoperative

  1. Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off for 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and observe ABS indicator light. If indicator light illuminates, problem is intermittent. If indicator light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  3. Replace instrument panel cluster. After replacing instrument panel cluster, go to next step.
  4. Turn ignition off for 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and observe ABS indicator light. If indicator light illuminates, system is okay. If indicator light does not illuminate, go to step  3.
