Window Switch Operation
When the ignition switch is in RUN or ACC, battery voltage is supplied to the right window switch through the ACC-IGN circuit breaker and PNK (76) wires. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . When the UP switch in the right window switch is operated, battery voltage is supplied to the right window motor through DK BLU (666) wire. The motor is grounded through the BRN (667) wire, the DN contact in the right window switch, the TAN (167) and the DN contact in the master door lock/power window switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window up. When the DN switch in the right window switch is operated, battery voltage is supplied to the right window motor in the opposite direction through the BRN (667) wire. The motor is grounded through the DK BLU (666) wire, the UP contact in the right window switch, the DK BLU (166) wire and the UP contact in the master door lock/power window switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window down.
