Selector Lever Cable: Installation

1. Position the selector lever cable and install the bolt.
  Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
2. Connect the selector lever cable.

Close the grommet box cap and install the bolts.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

NOTE: Take extra care when handling selector lever cable.
1. Connect the selector lever cable to the bracket.
2. Connect the selector lever cable retainer.

Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
Install the console reinforcement bracket and bolts.
Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Connect the floor console upper trim panel electrical connectors.

Feed the shift boot through the panel opening and install the floor console upper trim panel.

Attach the selector lever boot retainer tabs to the trim ring.

Install the handle or trim plate and bolts.
Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

Install the lower instrument trim panel.
