Functional Components

The functional components of the audio system, and their locations, are as follows:

• APIM, located above RH kick panel (late build)
• Audio Front Control Module (ACM)
• Speech Recognition Module (SRM), located behind the glove compartment (early build)
• AM/FM antenna cable, routed from the roof to the LH A-pillar, to the ACM
• AM/FM antenna, located at the front center of the roof
• Audio input jack, located at the front of the floor console
• Microphone, located in the LH A-pillar trim panel (Bluetooth Hands-Free System), or located in the overhead console by the LH sun visor (SYNC®)
• Speakers (see audio line-up for locations)
• Steering wheel controls, located on the steering column (if equipped)
• Universal Serial Bus (USB) port and cable, located on the bottom right of the radio bezel (if equipped)
