  1. Install A/C pressure sensor to suction/liquid line assembly. See Figure . Tighten sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Position suction/liquid line assembly into vehicle around the engine mount with the liquid line inside of the wiring harness and outside of the fuel lines. Position suction liquid line rearward of wiring harness at rear of engine compartment with oxygen sensor harness behind suction/liquid line. See Fig 6 .
  3. NOTE: Earlier vehicles used a bolt instead of a stud/nut.
  4. Remove cap or tape from TXV and suction/liquid line assembly block. Thoroughly clean "O" ring surfaces. Lubricate and install NEW "O" rings on suction/liquid line assembly block. Install suction/liquid line assembly block to TXV. See Figure . Install suction/liquid line assembly to TXV nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Remove cap or tape from suction/liquid line and liquid line. Add amount of compressor oil that was removed during discharge to liquid line. Install NEW seal washers. Install liquid line to suction/liquid line. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install liquid line into rail clamp. See Figure .
  6. Install suction/liquid line assembly into clamp at rear of engine compartment. See Fig 5 . Install oxygen sensor clip onto suction/liquid line assembly and close steel harness clip and install nut. Tighten to specification.
  7. Install suction/liquid line assembly clamp fastener at engine mount area. See Fig 2 .
  8. Raise and support vehicle. Remove cap or tape from suction hose and suction/liquid line assembly. Install a NEW seal washer onto suction/liquid line fitting. Install hose to line assembly. See Figure . Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  9. Install suction/liquid line assembly clamp to horn bracket. See Fig 3 . Install suction/liquid line assembly clamp at frame rail and install the nut. See Fig 4 . Tighten nuts to specification.
  10. Install lower cradle splash shield by sliding the shield between wheelhouse liner and wheelhouse. See Figure . Install splash shield to wheelhouse and cradle fasteners. Tighten to specification and lower vehicle.
  11. Install A/C pressure sensor connector. See Figure . Install air box. See Fig 1 .
