Removal & Installation
- Camshaft position sensor is located behind intake camshaft sprocket. See Fig 1.
- Manufacturer recommends removing timing belt cover, timing belt and intake camshaft sprocket to access camshaft position sensor. See the 2.0L (TURBO) article in the ENGINES section.
- Disconnect connector from camshaft position sensor. Remove bolt and camshaft position sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install and tighten camshaft position sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
