Test 13B - Odometer No Bus Message

NOTE: For connector terminal identification see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect appropriate module from defective circuit. Using an external ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and appropriate terminal of BCM connector (Yellow/Violet wire), as specified in TEST 13A  . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Yellow/Violet wire for short to ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, go to next step.
  2. Connect jumper wire between ground and Yellow/Violet wire of appropriate module. Measure resistance between ground and appropriate terminal of BCM connector (Yellow/Violet wire), as specified in TEST 13A  . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair open Yellow/Violet wire between BCM and appropriate module. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, replace appropriate module.
