Key ID Registration (Without Scan Tool)
NOTE:
The registered key is the key that allows you to start the engine.

- Turn the ignition switch by using the first registered key, and wait for 5 seconds.
- Within 30 seconds, remove the key.
- Within 7 seconds after the ignition switch has been turned to the LOCK position, insert the second key and turn on the ignition switch again. Now the theft-alarm indicator light should blink twice for one second. If it does not blink, you have failed to register. Repeat step 1.
- Turn on the second key within 30 seconds, remove the key.
- Within 7 seconds after the ignition switch has been turned to the LOCK position, turn on the ignition switch by using a new key.
- The immobilizer ECU identifies the new key to accept or reject it and operates the theft-alarm indicator.
- Repeat steps 2- 6 until a maximum of 8 keys are reached.
