Avenger & Sebring Coupe
- Remove center console to access gearshift assembly. Place gear selector in Park. Disconnect key interlock cable from lock cam and loosen lock nut. Loosen shift lock cable lock nut. Position shift lock cable so end of cable is positioned above Red marking on gearshift lock cam. See Fig 1
.
- Reinstall key interlock cable on lock cam. Ensure spring and washer are assembled properly. See Fig 1
. While lightly pushing key interlock cable coupling portion of lock cam in direction "A", tighten key interlock cable lock nut. Reinstall center console.
