Installation Procedure

    Rear Window (1) - Install - adhesive Installation Of Rear Windows 

  2. Connect The Rear Window Grid Electrical Connectors.

    Rear End Spoiler (1) - Install

    If New Threaded Components Are Being Installed, Loosen The Adhesive Using A Metal Pick Or Similar Tool Before Proceeding. If Threaded Components Are Reused, Prepare The Threaded Components Using The Following Steps:

    1. Remove Any Loose Cured Adhesive From The External Threads Of The Components Using A Lint Free Cloth.
    2. Thread The Cleaned Components Into The Internal Mating Threads And Remove To Loosen Trapped Cured Adhesive.
    3. Remove Loose Debris From Internal And External Threads Using Compressed Air.
    4. Apply Liquid Thread Locking Adhesive In A Strip Along Half Of The Length Of The External Threads, Starting At The Tip, Just Prior To Installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, And Sealers
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer To Fastener Caution .

  5. Rear End Spoiler Bolt (3) - Install And Tighten [6X] - Fastener Specifications
  6. Rear End Spoiler Nut (2) - Install And Tighten [6X] - Fastener Specifications
  7. Connect The Electrical Connectors.
  8. Rear Window Washer Nozzle Hose (1) - Connect

    Liftgate Upper Side Trim Finish Panel - Left Side And Right Side (1) - Install [2X]

    Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) - Install

    Rear Window Wiper Motor Grommet - Install

  12. Connect All Electrical Connectors.
  13. Rear Window Wiper Motor (2) - Install
  14. Rear Window Wiper Motor Bolt (1) - Install And Tighten [3X] - Fastener Specifications

    Rear Window Wiper Arm (1) - Install

    Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut (1) - Install And Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Rear Window Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Install

    Rear Window Wiper Blade (1) - Install

    Connect The Electrical Connector.

  20. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (3) - Install
  21. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Install And Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  22. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Access Hole Cover (1) - Install
  23. Battery Negative Cable - Connect - Battery Negative Cable Disconnection And Connection
  24. Liftgate - Close
