Installation Procedure
- NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.
Liftgate Power Assist Actuator (2) - Install
- First install the liftgate end of the liftgate power assist actuator (2) and then install the body side.
- Install the 2 metal clips to each end of the liftgate power assist actuator (2).
- Install the liftgate power assist actuator harness grommet (1).
Connect the electrical connector. (1)
Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (3) - Install
- Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Cap (1) - Install
Rear Seat Belt Buckle Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
