WARNING: Refer to Express Window Down Warning . CAUTION: When removing glass from the vehicle, apply tape to corners of glass and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage. Preliminary Procedures Remove Front Side Door Armrest Bracket. Refer to Front Side Door Armrest Bracket Replacement Remove Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding. Refer to Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement Remove Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement Remove the water deflector. Remove Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement
1	Front Side Door Window Regulator Guide Procedure Position the window to access the regulator guides. Using the proper tool release the window regulator guide from the window. Use masking tape to tape the window in the full up position to the door frame. Lower the window regulator full down. Remove the masking tape from the window. Tilt the window downward in the front, pull up on the back of the window and pull it out from the door frame.
2	Front Side Door Window Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.

Remove Front Side Door Armrest Bracket. Refer to Front Side Door Armrest Bracket Replacement
Remove Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding. Refer to Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement
Remove Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement
Remove the water deflector.
Remove Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement

Front Side Door Window Regulator Guide

Procedure

Position the window to access the regulator guides.
Using the proper tool release the window regulator guide from the window.
Use masking tape to tape the window in the full up position to the door frame.
Lower the window regulator full down.
Remove the masking tape from the window.
Tilt the window downward in the front, pull up on the back of the window and pull it out from the door frame.

Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
