Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Cooling Fan And Bolts

  1. Install Cooling Fan (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 2 cooling fan bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in)

  4. Install Air Conditioning Condenser (1). Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement

  5. Connect Electrical Connector (1)

  6. Install Drive Motor Generator Control Module Radiator Outlet Hose (2)
  7. Engage Clamp (1). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  8. Connect Electrical Connector (1)

  9. Install Remove Drive Motor Generator Control Module Radiator Inlet Hose (2)
  10. Engage Clamp (1). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  11. Install Radiator Upper Brackets (2) (Qty: 3). Refer to Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement

  12. Install Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Assembly (3). Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement

  15. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (North America)Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Europe, Korea)

  16. Install Front Wheelhouse Liner (4) (Qty: 2). Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  17. Install Front Compartment Air Deflector (5). Refer to Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement

  18. Install Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (3). Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement
  19. Recharge the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
  20. Fill the drive motor generator power inverter module cooling system. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  21. Check the cooling system for leaks.
  22. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
