Removal Procedure
WARNING:

CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution
CAUTION:
Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM.
- Refer to High Voltage Disabling
- Remove Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover. Refer to Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement
- Remove Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip (2)
- Position aside Radiator Surge Tank (1)
- Remove Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) (Qty: 4)
- Remove Brake Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2)
- Disconnect Electrical Connector (1) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (2)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1)
- Carefully remove the brake pressure modulator valve (3) and the brake pressure modulator valve bracket (2) from the vehicle.
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement
NOTE:
Do NOT disconnect the engine coolant hoses.
NOTE:
Cap the brake pipe fittings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
NOTE:
Cap the brake pipe fittings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

NOTE:
Protect the windshield edge before removing the component.
