Installation Procedure

- Position the cable/guide (1) into the cable tube (3) and tracks (2) with dimpled/depression feature facing upward.
- Install the sunshade to the cable/guide. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement (Front Manual)
- Install the window seal and frame (2) as one to the sunroof frame.
- Install the fixed window seal frame screws (1) to the front center, left and right side.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
- Install the sunroof frame. Refer to Sunroof Frame Replacement .
- Install the sunshade motor/actuator. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Motor/Actuator Replacement .
- Ensure that the initialization/teach process is done before the sunroof window is installed. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Motor) , Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Motor) , Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Roller Sunshade) or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Roller Sunshade) .
- Install the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
- Inspect the sunroof and sunshade for proper operation.
NOTE:
After installing the cables/guide in the cable tube and track. The left and right sunshade cables/guides Must be pushed rearward to the full stop position.
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
