Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    After installing the cables/guide in the cable tube and track. The left and right sunshade cables/guides Must be pushed rearward to the full stop position.

  1. Position the cable/guide (1) into the cable tube (3) and tracks (2) with dimpled/depression feature facing upward.
  2. Install the sunshade to the cable/guide. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement (Front Manual)

  4. Install the window seal and frame (2) as one to the sunroof frame.
  5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the fixed window seal frame screws (1) to the front center, left and right side.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  7. Install the sunroof frame. Refer to Sunroof Frame Replacement .
  8. NOTE:

    The left and right sunshade cables/guides Must be pushed rearward to the full stop position before installing the motor.

  9. Install the sunshade motor/actuator. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Motor/Actuator Replacement .
  10. Ensure that the initialization/teach process is done before the sunroof window is installed. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Motor) , Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Motor) , Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Roller Sunshade)  or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Roller Sunshade) .
  11. Install the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
  12. Inspect the sunroof and sunshade for proper operation.
