Installation Procedure

Install a stationary window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows .

Install the windshield side reveal moldings. Refer to Windshield Side Reveal Molding Replacement (Coupe and Convertible) or Windshield Side Reveal Molding Replacement (Hardtop) .

Install the windshield weatherstrip. Refer to Windshield Frame Weatherstrip Replacement .

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the fender mounting screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

Install the air inlet screen seal. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
Install the windshield wiper arms and washer hoses. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement and Windshield Washer Hose Replacement .

Install the rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement (Except DD8) or Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DD8) .
Perform the appropriate step:
- For the coupe, install the roof lift-off panel.
- For the convertible, raise and close the folding top.
Close the door windows.
Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
Close the hood.
