Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove cruise control cable. See CRUISE CONTROL CABLE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect cruise control module harness connector. Remove cruise control module-to-mounting bracket bolt. Remove cruise control module from mounting bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mounting bolts to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m). Adjust cruise control cable. See CRUISE CONTROL CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
