Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Place the front side door window in the full up position.
2. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement .

Procedure

1. Place the window in the full up position.
2. Remove the front door water deflector.
3. Disconnect the window from the window regulator, place the window in the full up position, using masking tape to tape the window to the door upper frame. Position the window regulator rail to access the front side door window rear channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
4. Pull the lower section of the window weatherstrip out of the rear lower channel.
5. Pull the front side door window rear channel downward releasing it from the stationary window.

Procedure

1. Unclip the wiring harness retainer from the channel.
2. When installing the front side door window rear channel ensure that it is in line with the stationary window so that the window will roll properly.
3. After install the front side door window rear channel, start at the top of the channel working downward.
