Preliminary Test

Check if DTC P0720 is present. If DTC P0720 is present, diagnose and repair countershaft speed sensor circuit. See DTC P0720 (COUNTERSHAFT SPEED SENSOR) . If DTC P0720 is not present, diagnose and repair vehicle speed signal circuit. See VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT .
