DTC P2227: Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem (2004 3.5RL)

Perform PCM reset procedure. See PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Install SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to Service Check Connector. See Figure . Start engine. Hold engine speed at 3000 RPM with no load and transmission in Park or Neutral until radiator fan comes on, then let it idle. Test drive vehicle with transmission in "2" position. If DTC P2227 is not reset, problem is intermittent. System is okay at this time. If DTC P2227 resets, substitute a known-good PCM, and recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM.
