Tilt/Extend-Retract Motor Test

Remove steering column tilt cover. See STEERING COLUMN COVERS  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect tilt motor and extend-retract motor connectors. See Figure . Apply battery power across motor connector terminals as specified in TILT/EXTEND-RETRACT MEMORY SENSOR  TEST table. If either motor fails to function as specified, replace faulty motor.
