The Electronic Gear Selector Module (EGSM) is used to select the gear position. It also provides manual shifting capabilities in the Geartronic mode, with both the gear selector and with the gear shift paddles. The Electronic Gear Selector Module (EGSM) illuminates the gear selector knob.

The Electronic Gear Selector Module (EGSM) assembly has no mechanical linkage to the transmission.
