Operating Mode

The Television Module (TVM) has four operating modes which determine the level of television functionality:

• On mode: The TV function is active.
• Switch mode: Diagnostic tools are connected to the Vehicle Connectivity Module (VCM), and the Television Module (TVM) works only as a switching module for gateway information from the Vehicle Connectivity Module (VCM).
• Standby mode: The vehicle is in usage mode inactive or higher, but the television function is switched off.
• Sleep mode: The vehicle is in usage mode abandoned and the TV function is switched off.

The TV function is only active when the Television Module (TVM) is in operating mode ON when the vehicle is in a stationary position or driving in low velocity.
