Differential Electronic Module (DEM) (4/82) [2021-2022, AWF8G45 AWD; AWF8G45 Fwd | 2021, AWF8G55 AWD | 2019-2022, TG-81SC AWD]: Description

The Active On demand Coupling AOC and the Differential Electronic Module (DEM) control the all wheel drive function.

Conducted by signals from other modules, the Differential Electronic Module (DEM) determines how high the oil pressure should be, regulates the electronic feed pump in the Active On demand Coupling AOC, and directs the desired working pressure to the clutch plates. The pressure relates to the engine speed and is decisive for how much torque can be transferred to the rear axle.
