LSC (Low Speed Control)

LSC has a sub-function, HDC. LSC is automatically activated when the Off Road drive mode is selected, and is deactivated if another drive mode is selected. LSC operates at speeds up to 40 km/h and facilitates driving off road, on slippery surfaces and on steep hills.

HDC (Hill Descent Control) 

HDC is an automatic extended engine brake that makes it possible to maintain the desired speed on downhill gradients without needing to use the brake pedal.

HDC is deactivated if:

• Vehicle speed, based on accelerator pedal position, is lower that the selected speed
• Brake disc temperature exceeds 450 °C.
