Connection And Communication

The left key pad is a LIN slave and communicates with the Driver Information Module (DIM) via the Steering Wheel Module (SWM).

Both communication and power supply to the right key pad goes through the left key pad. The right key pad does not have any control logic. It is directly connected to the left key pad.
