Gear Selector Assembly

The gear selector assembly is positioned in the tunnel console and is mechanically connected to the transmission by a cable which affects the gear valve in the transmission's control system.

The gear selector has the following functions:

• P  :Park.
• R  : Reverse.
• N  : Neutral.
• D  : Automatic shifting between all gears.
• +/-  : Manual shifting function (Geartronic).

The gear selector assembly contains four hall sensors to detect the gear selector in position P and in the three manual shifting positions.
