Engine Remote Start (ERS) Using VOLVO On Call [2015-2018]

SAFETY INFORMATION 

WARNING:

Customer may by mistake activate Engine Remote start (ERS) via Volvo On Call while the vehicle is at a workshop, which could cause harm to the workshop personnel and vehicle.

WARNING:

Activating the ERS will start the vehicle meaning that consideration must be taken to rotating parts and exhaust gases.

WARNING:

It is important that vehicles with ERS are handled in a safe way both inside and outside the workshop.

HOW TO IDENTIFY VEHICLES WITH ERS 

NOTE:

The function ERS via Volvo On Call, will be available as an option in vehicles with IHU/TEM 3G and Power transmission.

HANDLING 

CAUTION:

Turning off the ERS function can be done by doing any of the following:

Perform Activation/Deactivation according to: DIAGNOSTICS/VEHICLE COMMUNICATION/CEM/ADVANCED/GENERAL
