Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU)
General
Using the Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) the vehicle's ordinary 7" screen is used with a connected media center with intuitive touch interface. Excellent possibilities are achieved by connecting to the Internet, with 3G- or 4G-dongle or via mobile telephone. These include services in the form of numerous applications that are installed, pre-installed and that the customer can download. Internet browser, navigation, Internet radio and e-mail client software are pre-installed (see the list below for more). Additional applications, such as music services etc. can be downloaded via Parrot Market .
Via external connections on Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) it is possible to display images and play audio/video via USB as well as save navigation data onto an SD card. Besides using touch panel the functions can also be controlled via the steering wheel buttons and for playback of audio there is a voice control function.
