• Ignition on.

  Check the outside temperature.

  NOTE:

  The outside temperature sensor is always located in the right door mirror.

Is the temperature within its permitted range? 

• YES 

  see: INTERMITTENT FAULT 

• NO 

  see: CHECKING THE CONNECTORS
