Checking The Contact Reel
Check that the upper connector on the switch for the cruise control is correctly connected.
Disconnect the upper switch on the switch for the cruise control. Take voltage readings between terminals #B1 (26) and #B3 (28) (on the cable connector). The fault is probably in the contact reel if the voltage is 0 V. The fault is probably in the switch for the cruise control if the voltage is approximately 12 V.
Remedy as necessary.
