Checking Components And Wiring
- Ignition off.
Check the resistance of the clutch pedal sensor between terminals #2 and #4 (component side).
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B15 (#B25) and clutch pedal sensor terminal #2 (wiring side). Check for a short-circuit to ground.
HINT: With the ignition on, the power supply to the clutch pedal sensor must be approximately 5 V (measured with the clutch pedal sensor disconnected), measured between terminals #2 and #4 (wiring side).
Remedy as necessary.
