Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-431C
Condition
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the control signal to the heater element (PTC resistor) for the leak diagnostic unit is too high.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the engine is running and the control module activates or deactivates preheating for the heater element for the leak diagnostic unit.
