Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the signal cables for the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) (bank 1).

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit in the signal cables
• Damaged front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
