Description Of Frozen Values (B6324S): Explanation

Frozen values are parameter values that are stored when a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.

Not all parameters can be read out for all diagnostic trouble codes. The parameter values can only be read if they can provide additional information on the prevailing conditions when the code was generated.

HINT: The engine cylinders are counted starting from the cylinder furthest from the flywheel (right-hand side of the vehicle in the direction of travel) 

HINT: Bank 1 (cylinder row nearest the front): cylinders 1, 3, 5 and 7. 

HINT: Bank 2 (cylinder row furthest to the rear, nearest the passenger compartment): cylinders 2, 4, 6, and 8.
