Checking Components And Wiring
Check the cable between the central electronic module (CEM) terminal #A2 and the left lamp housing terminal #5A (10/1). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
HINT: The actuator motor is supplied with voltage via the parking lamp circuit. If the parking lamp does not function carry out the following checks:
Check the main fuse, passenger compartment fuse and relay for the parking lamps.
Check that the left parking lamp bulb is intact.
Check the cable between the passenger compartment fuse and lamp housing terminal #2A. Check the cable between lamp housing terminal #1A and the ground terminal. Check for an open-circuit.
Replace the lamp housing if no fault is found.
