Condition

The Differential Electronic Module (DEM) checks the function of the A/D converter by comparing the power supply with the predefined limits.

If the signal from the A/D converter is extreme and outside the limits, the control module interprets this as a fault and the trouble code is set.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• Four wheel drive is disengaged.

Possible Source 

• Damaged control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Four wheel drive is not functioning.
