Diagnostic Trouble Code Information BCM-C111542

Condition 

The control modules continually transmit and receive information via the vehicle's CAN data network (Controller Area Network). When voltage is supplied to the brake control module (BCM), the CAN controller that handles CAN communication is initialized.

Diagnostic trouble code BCM-C111542 is generated if CAN controller initialization fails.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• TC is blocked.
• SC is blocked.
• AYC is blocked.
• All communication to and from the brake control module (BCM) is deactivated.

• Internal malfunction in brake control module (BCM).
