Checking The Component And Wiring

Check the cradle signal cable between phone module (PHM) connector B terminal #12 (#54) and handset connector terminal #4 (#24). Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Try replacing the handset if the wiring is OK.

Remedy as necessary.

Other information: 

• The cradle signal is approximately 2.9-3.7 V when the handset is in use
• The cradle signal is approximately 1.6-2.1 V when the handset is in the cradle
