Checking Components And Wiring

Check the microphone signal's cable on the control module's connector A for short-circuit to voltage.

Check between:

• #19 (#19) and #7 (#7).
• #19 (#19) and #5 (#5).

Check the microphone signal's cable for open circuit.

Measure between the control module's connector A #19 (#19) and the handset's connector #1 (#21).

Check the connectors for loose connections, damaged or bent pins as well as oxidation.

If no malfunction was found on the cable, try replacing the handset or holder.

Remedy as necessary.
