Diagnostic Trouble Code Information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-8F43 is generated if the signal across relay coil (2/16) is missing or too low when the tailgate wiper relay is activated.

The fuse can blow if relays are activated in the wrong order. This can happen when the key is turned from position I to position II and the wiper arm is activated at the same time.

None.

Possible Source 

• Damaged fuse in the tailgate wiper.
• Oxidation in the relay base switches.
• Relay is not fit.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The rear windscreen wiper motor does not operate.
