Diagnostic Trouble Code Information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-8F41 is stored if the signal across the relay coil (2/16) is too high when the tailgate wiper is activated.

The fuse can blow if relays are activated in the wrong order. This can happen when the key is turned from position I to position II and the wiper arm is activated at the same time.

None.

Possible Source 

• Damaged tailgate wiper fuse.
• Damaged relay (short-circuit in the relay coil).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The rear windscreen wiper motor does not operate.
