Checking Supply
Check passenger compartment fuse 4 (11C/4:2)
Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) terminal #A1 and passenger compartment fuse 4 (11C/4:2). Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See CONTACT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION .
If the fuse has blown fault-trace for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, INTERMITTENT FAULTS
Check the connector
Check passenger compartment fuse 24 (11C/24:2)
Check the cable between power seat supply relay (2/29) #3 and passenger compartment fuse 24 (11C/24:2). Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, INTERMITTENT FAULTS . Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See CONTACT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION .
Check that the relay is not is defective.
Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) #B1 and power seat supply relay (2/29) #1. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, INTERMITTENT FAULTS . Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See CONTACT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION .
Remedy as necessary.
