Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-8410

Condition 

Engine control module (ECM) checks the signal for engine speed at start. If the Engine control module (ECM) detects that the engine speed is lower than a certain value for a certain time, (depending on the temperature), the control module interprets this as a malfunction and the diagnostic trouble code is generated.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when starting the engine.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Blocked engine (the engine does not turn over)
• Signal interference.
• Damaged engine speed (RPM) sensor.
