Installing The Spring Strut: Notes

Install the spring strut in the bodywork using new nuts. Tighten. See TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Install the spring strut on the stub axle. Use new screws and new nuts.

Adjust the spring strut and stub axle to the measured value. See.

Tighten, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE . Use protractor see 9512050 .

Install: 

• the anti-roll bar link to the spring strut. Use a new nut. Tighten. See: TIGHTENING TORQUE . Counterhold using a Torx wrench to prevent damage to the boot.
• The ABS sensor. Tighten to 10 Nm  .

Install: 

• the ABS sensor cable in the bracket.
• the wheel. See INSTALLING WHEELS .

Check and adjust the headlights' alignment according to: HEADLAMPS, ALIGNING
