• Ignition on
• Depress the brake pedal.

  Check if the gear selector can be moved from gear position P.

Could the gear selector be moved? 

• YES 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to CHECKING MECHANICAL CABLE FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH INTERLOCK
