Checking The Wiring

• Ignition off
• Connect a breakout box.

  Check the cables for open circuit, short circuit to ground and short circuit to supply voltage.

  Measure between:

  • AYC sensor connector terminal #1 and brake control module (BCM) terminal #25 (#A25).
  • AYC sensor connector terminal #2 and brake control module (BCM) terminal #29 (#A29).
  • AYC sensor connector terminal #3 and brake control module (BCM) terminal #6 (#A6).
  • AYC sensor connector terminal #5 and brake control module (BCM) terminal #39 (#A39).

  Also check that the AYC sensor is properly installed and that the bracket is properly secured.

  If the cables are OK, try a new AYC sensor.
