Checking The Component And Wiring

Ignition off
Disconnect connector A from the phone module (PHM).
Check the cables for the Volvo On Call switch. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take a reading between control module connector A terminals #2 (#2) and #5 (#5).

Try replacing the switch if the cable is OK.

Remedy as necessary.
