The Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) is located in the lever module together with the steering wheel module (SWM) and is supplied with power by it.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the voltage supply (5 V) for the steering wheel angle sensor is missing.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on and the steering wheel angle sensor is initiated. Initiation is carried out when the steering wheel is turned more than 4.5° in any direction.

Substitute Value 

• The stability function is blocked.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the circuit for internal power supply cable to the steering wheel angle sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
• General warning lamp lit.
• The stability control system does not function.
