Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition

NOTE:

The diagnostic trouble code only applies to vehicles equipped with DSTC.

The AYC sensor for DSTC consists of a yaw speed sensor, lateral accelerometer, accelerometer (AWD only) and inclination sensor (RSC only). Via its own internal CAN network, the sensors transmit information to the brake control module (BCM) on the size of the yaw angle, vehicle acceleration both laterally and straight ahead as well as lateral inclination. Each sensor has an offset value, correction value, for individual sensor deviations.

If the brake control module (BCM) registers an incorrect offset value from one of the sensors, diagnostic trouble code BCM-C006128, BCM-C006228, BCM-C006328 or BCM-C111486 is generated depending on the sensor.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

NOTE:

This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.
